Pineda's Calendar — Support

A private calendar for the people you love.

Getting started

Open the app, type the name your family knows you by, and you'll get three circles: 🏠 Home, 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family and 🤝 Friends. Each circle is its own calendar. Add an event with the + button.

Common questions

How do I invite someone to a circle?

Open the circle, tap Invite people and send the link with Messages, Mail or AirDrop. Choose "Can make changes" if they should be able to post, or "View only". They need an Apple ID signed in to iCloud.

Someone can't see my events.

Make sure they opened the invite link on a device signed in to iCloud, and that iCloud Drive is on (Settings → [name] → iCloud). Pull down on the calendar to sync.

Birthdays and anniversaries

Choose the Birthday, Anniversary or Memorial type and enter the year. They repeat every year, show the age ("Mom turns 60") and remind everyone one week before and on the day at 9 AM.

Scanning a school flyer

Tap + → Scan a flyer, take a photo, and the app fills in the title, date and place. Check the details before saving.

Kid Mode

Kid Mode shows a big, simple view for children. Turn it on in Settings → Kid Mode, where you choose a 4-digit PIN. To leave Kid Mode, enter that PIN.

Copy events to Apple Calendar

Settings → Copy to Apple Calendar. Pick which circles to copy. Changes in Pineda's Calendar update the copies.

Leaving a circle or deleting my data

Open the circle → Leave circle. To erase everything, Settings → Delete my account and data. Circles you own are deleted for everyone you shared them with.

Does it work without iCloud?

Yes, on one device. Sharing and syncing between devices need iCloud.
